Metal: TCM-inspired Workshop

  • Drift Yoga + Juice Bar 1251 Harrison Street Seattle, WA 98109 United States (map)

As summer’s outward energy begins to soften, fall invites us to slow down, turn inward, and return to what is essential. Inspired by the Metal element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this workshop will support the Lungs and Large Intestine—the organ systems associated with breath, boundaries, grief, and our ability to release what we no longer need. Through gentle qi-inspired movements, mindful breathwork, supported yin and restorative postures, and moments of stillness, we’ll create space through the chest and shoulders, encourage the healthy flow of energy, and prepare the body and mind for the season ahead.

The practice will close with an extended Savasana accompanied by a deeply restorative sound bath, allowing the body to fully settle and integrate.

Afterward, gather with us in the lobby for warm tea and community connection.

Come breathe deeply, release with intention, and welcome fall feeling clear, grounded, and renewed. No prior experience is needed.

Expect:

  • Gentle Qi-inspired movement

  • Targeted myofascial release

  • Restorative postures

  • Immersive sound bath
